Simple Circles
When he worked on the sketches for these pieces, he found out they were just looped chord progressions. They were just simple circles. He decided to keep it that way and let the loops develop instead of writing new parts. In spite of the harmonic simplicity, the productions and arrangements were nearly insurmountable to get finished. Therefore, even though ‘Simple Circles’ only contains three pieces, it was perhaps his most demanding publication to date. Every piece contains elements from the demos, which he decided to keep in the final version because they contain some magic that was impossible to recreate or replace.
